Some poor bidder fell for another false Auction, for a large price..

$27,500.00 for a costume probably worth less than half of that.

Looks like he's doing another Superboy TV series auction:
look under seller certsig, he has only one feedback and it's private.

I guess scammers don't sleep much.

I'm a little confused on why you believe this to be a scam auction? Profiles in History sells tons of screen-used stuff including costumes from various movies.

Profiles in History is not always 100% correct in what they sell. A few auctions ago they sold a set of colonial marine armor frpm the movie ALIENS. It was Hick's armor. Only one small problem. It was NOT screen used. It was built by Terry English, but AFTER the movie was filmed. Years after. This was confirmed by Terry.

So not everything is at is seems at PiH.

PIH Has been wrong on a few too auctions for my taste.

As always when dealing with Screen-used Pieces one must do his homework

if I am not mistaken, another "tell" is the cape insignia...it was roughly hand stitched by machine and not a perfect emblem much like a computer program can produce. I know this is true for SUPERMAN the Movie, but not 100% sure on Supes III
