Photos of me were drawn as the character of "Sid Richardson" in the SGT Rock series, "The Lost Battalion" by Billy Tucci:
Me, inserted into a copy of a WW2 Army magazine:
Billy Tucci actually did draw me into the comic book as a thanks for helping him out with some research, and my name is in the back of the complete bound edition under the 'thanks' section, and he drew a panel in the last issue of my character actually interviewing SGT Rock himself.
"Sid Richardson" was actually my grandfather (and no he wasn't a war correspondent in WW2). Is that cheating in a way?
rolleyes I'm so tempted to wear this to the Emerald City (Seattle) Comic Con someday with a copy of the comic book with me...
