Got some special items here! Steve Dymszo graciously built up a hero hand phaser for me, combining Robn1's exquisite fiberglass p1 shells with the mechanical guts from a John Long kit. He also shoehorned the sound board from an IPI keychain phaser in there!

The replica works just like the original hero prop... the trigger button on the bottom is non-functional. The emitter extends and the sight plate rises as you roll the thumbwheel forward. Then at the end of the thumbwheel travel, the emitter lights up.

The unused JLong shells were built up into a replica Midgrade prop.

Here's the Hero build fitted into the ATL pistol body. Obviously the two were not designed for each other but the fit is still pretty good!
