Star Trek Need help Id this Disruptor Please

This Disruptor belongs to a friend of mine, and I'm curious
to know if anybody can ID it. Its obviously Klingon,
but does anybody know where (movie) it might have come
from? Any help is appreciated. My friend believes it
might have been used in one of the films..

That actually looks more like the death sting built for Star Trek V.

It was used in TNG on. But it was made for Motion Picture but never uses on screen.

This one happens to have the later brown paint job to go along with other Klingon pieces. The original TMP versions were gray metallic.
