I just watched this "newly discovered" 30 minute documentary from 1980 with behind the scenes footage from Empire and at around 4:30 Mark Hamill is discussing the Tusken Raider attack scene from IV while holding a prop saber. However....the saber very clearly appears to be Luke's VI saber. It's definitely not a Luke from either of the first two films nor is it a Kenobi. I may just be clueless and you guys will fill me in quite quickly but I didn't think that saber existed in 1980. Here's the link from ign.com:
