Chewbacca sculpt

Good evening...I'm cross posting this from the costume build thread I've got going to get some more eyes on this. This is the first thing I've ever sculpted and I'm looking for some general thoughts, tips as to how it's going. Thanks so much in advance!

Okay, making some good progress this evening...though I'm done now as I've totally run out of clay. I'm actually having a lot of fun with this part of things. I've spent 3.5 hours so far on things. I had to increase the size of the muzzle because it was too small, otherwise I may have made it a bit further.

Any help or constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated on the sculpt!

Second evening of sculpting and this is the result. I think I'm getting pretty close here. The nostrils are giving me the fits to a degree though. How is it looking?

Hi! Maybe this is too early to ask but, may I know what technique will be applying to sculpt the hair? It will be very challenging but most satisfying I guess.

The sculpt is in preparation for making a mold which will be used for casting ecoflex skin and a rigid foam underskull. I'm making the complete costume of Chewie and this is one of the first steps of making the mask. After silicone skin and underskull are made then I'll make the jaw movable; complete with teeth and wires to make the lip snarl. After that is done I'll punch in the hair.
