    Hi guys,

First post from me so be gentle! I'm a huge BTTF fan, DeLorean owner & massive geek & am really tempted to buy some of the Nike Mag Repilcas that many of you have ordered. I'm basically just wondering what you would consider to be the best replica's outthere, possibly to display or even wear. I'm based in the UK 7 am torn between Chinafreshshop, Aliexpress or is it Shoebagonsale?

Which would you recommend & are the V3's on sale as yet?

    Cheers guys!
    Welcome to the forum

Aliexpress seems to be the group that has actually supplied the product.

I don't think the V3s even exist, nor do I think one will come. All that might happen is a re-work of this shoe at best.

I'm skipping these and will make my own at full height.

    Woo! The truck returned!

I know these types of pictures have already been posted many times but I don't care, I am so excited!

The blue lights look WAY better in person, very evenly distributed light. When you are looking down on them like they were on someone's feet you can't tell it's an LED and looking straight on looks great. And, like Karin Chen promised, all electronics work great and are evenly placed. The small LED's are 4 green/4 yellow/4 red.

They also got the tag on the side of the box right. It no longer says "Air Yeezy" or whatever.

And to follow up dvdripper's comments, these shoes are very nicely made. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend Karin Chen's Aliexpress shop.

Very nice pics. I love these Nike Mag

Personally I'd say these would be the best replica off the shelf without having to modify anything, well not so much replica but certainly illegal knock offs.

Certainly worth a glance before nike come down on them, not that I expect it will stop more sellers of this copy in the future.

I'm tempted to hang out for a price drop but I can't see it yet, people will pay 250 for these even as a copy for a shelf based hoverboard addition

ive been thinking the opposite. the flaws in these become more glaring to me with addtional pics. mabye someone around here can work thier magic on a pair and fix em and show us how its done tho, but im still wating for a price drop sometime next year.

    i agree
the more you look at them after seeing the 1989 and the 2011 release, you can how poor they are in the top section and in many other areas.

the bits that are the most frustrating errors are these (in my eyes anyway)

front toe taper at midsole. totally incorrect as like the first knockoff (on this second knockoff, will be a mission to fix, because the actual soles are now painted and textured, so if you add anything to them, you will probably have to spray paint the entire midsoles which is ridiculous)

the actual grey toe area is too much like a boot. even if you just reduce this bit, the toe section will still look poor due to the terrible midsole tapering off which lacks the correct height.

back of midsole heel is far too high. this could be fixed by simply chopping them down.

bulging lace area, dont know what the hell they used, but they stick out and seem too fat, and the actual laces seem to be 14mm, slightly bigger than the recommended 12mm.

crappy upper section, lacking in a few cm of height, and the innacurate shaping at the top. Still has the Mark Poon feel to it which is to be expected, since its an evolution of that shoe anyway!

i can totally understand that if you haven't studied or even looked at the originals in detail regularly, that these knockoffs can seem very enticing, but in reality they are still totally innacurate, and in the most basic of places which could have been avoided.

I bought a size 10 and the the height is exactly 10" tall. The picture looks a little off but I think that's a camera trick, it's 10" from highest point to the bottom of the sole.

It is also 12" long from toe to heel

    This is classic RPF !

You totally right but I don't know if you are aware most the People buying these (including me) are aware of another difference in these knock offs to the 2011 ones..... THE PRICE!

As u said they could be easily altered when being made but I would expect they would definatly cost way more than $250.

This is pro ably why everyone I calling them knock offs my friend.

i would gladly pay top dollar for a reasonably accurate replica, but as the way these v2 knockoffs stand, I have a limit to how much I can pay for them.

Its the fact that the factory didn't bother to properly make them, simply reusing the v1 knockoffs parts, and doing few modifications. The shoe still has the Mark Poon look to it, which is not accurate enough for me personally, as i get a bit picky when it comes to these shoes!

thats why im getting 10 pairs in January when i get back from holiday as im getting them for a cheaper price than what many websites are charging. I figure since they will need extensive modifying, and I plan to do varying degrees of mods, bulk buy is best on these particular ones.

im looking at it objectively. Just because its a nike mag knockoff does not give those knockoff sellers the right to be ridiculous with the pricing, given that i know the shoes cost less to make than most knockoff shoes (other more complex ones), and that they are trading on peoples emotions and knee jerk reactions.

I give you an example. if you look at a Nike Kobe or Lebron shoe, they use several different rubber molds and shapes for the soles, which include air bubbles and other patterned features, and the fabrics are far more complex to design and finish, yet those shoes only cost $50 to $60. Those shoes are far more time consuming to make, yet they cost far less.

These mags are in fact 100% costing less to manufacture due to their simplicity. The soles are very simple, as is the shape of the shoe. The only complex feature in these v2 knockoffs is the wiring, and even then, its dirt cheap due to the cheap LEDs used throughout the shoe.

The chinese are very clever when making a profit, and work in unison because they know westerners cannot contain themselves when they something that has been requested a lot.

I have to stick to my limits personally!
but i understand if other people have to spend more money on them, as they are only getting 1 pair.

Since im getting multiple pairs, i have to stick to my limits!

Interesting that a size 10 is 12" long. I'm a size 12, and have always enjoyed the convenience that most of my size 12 shoes are 12" long, so when I want to measure a long distance on the ground without a tape, I can just walk it out. Wonder how long the size 12 V2 Mags are... Not that I want to measure things with them, but it sounds like they are big!

What's the distance, from one end of the half moon shape to the other end of the other half moon shape in the soles where the blue LEDs shine through? Just roughly, I am wondering if I have enough aqua EL to do the soles as well if not I'm gonna have to order

will anyone be doing fixes on these such as the toe fix, the lights fix, and the bottem clear soles are different from the originals.

It has already been said and agreed that these are too short. 10" is pretty good though. The theory seems to be that the shoe is actually the same height as it is long. In the case of the US 10 being 12" long, it should also be 12" tall.

    And few other things -

    1. Can you tell what kind of material the Ankle Buckle is made from? It looks like plastic in some shots and foam in others.
    2. Is the mid sole and Heel cup made of the same materials?
    3. Is this a rubber or the same urethane foam like the V1s?

You have RD MAGs? What size are they? And how long are they?

I have V1 K-MAG soles for US8, US10 and US11. The 10's are 12" long, yet the 11s are only 1/4" longer. They seem proportionally larger, so slightly longer and slightly wider. I don't have 8s on hand to take measurements.

I had a mail from Karen Chen basically saying they doubt the design in the future will change..... So unless they sell hundreds of these I don't see the price comming down soon, certainly worth a punt if your considering base poon shoes and you don't want to do the ripping apart. The cost to led is small but time involved is a headache so IMO this is a good alternative.

Not perfect no, but there are knock off replicas that do look to share both mark poons shoemaker look and so2 style mods without having to do the hard graft and have a more wearable shoe. Once you rip a poon pair apart your always hesitant to wear them. Bonus these reps has is the size availability
