This is possibly the best Arnold sculpt I've ever seen. I always wondered why he was such a hard man to capture in clay, I suppose your theory is as good as any. I'm looking forward to seeing this one finished.

Are you sculpting this with an expression? As the mouth looks like he is snarling, this could be intentional of course, i don't know! It looks good tho as it adds a bit of realism and movement to the face. Good work

This looks great.

I totally agree what you are saying about his inhuman face. I had a go at sculpting Arnold a while back and it was one of the hardest likenesses to get. Don't think I got it anywhere as close as you have.
If you do decide to mould it and are unsure about how to go about it, by all means send me a message and I'd be happy to give you some tips and tricks.

Holy crap, what an amazing job. The side profile is fantastic. I agree with what you said, I've seen a lot of likenesses that fall apart when you look at the profile, not yours though. Outstanding work!
