Iron Man LED Eyes

Hey guys just thought i'd share my iron man led eye light solution.

My setup is for a display piece so there is no ability to see through, however on my wearable helmet these just require fixing in a place so a small gap is left at the bottom.

I have used an led strip in White and made a fully enclosed box with reflective tape to help diffuse the light.

This was my first attempt bare in mind and I can improve it. I'm very happy with the result.

Please note the orange foam was only used as it was thrown together this morning. I will remake using black.

All this is linked to a switched 9v battery box.

The led's are 12v rated but the battery does the trick!

I might even consider making a few sets if people like the idea but I'm in the UK.

Your thoughts, advice and criticism is welcome...

Looks good man. That's a nice clean helmet

Neat! I might try that method for a mask I'm making that needs glowing eyes.

Thanks man. Only just got motivated to sort the eyes this morning. Makes the helmet so much better!

Hope you get the lights sorted. This was an idea I had last night and thought i'd try it. Seems it works! Haha!
