Still need to wetsand and do a final coat, then weather and clear coat. After that I just need to add the strapping for the arms, and do a final assembly!

Thanks everyone! I'm glad to say this project is finally nearing completion. It has been a long process!

Couple more pictures. I still need to fiberglass the helmet to the neck seal to properly support it. Tomorrow I'll be going to my local supplier to pick up some Onyx and cloth. I should also be attaching the arms this week too!

Just a little touch up here and there, and then some light weathering before clear coat!

It's very top-heavy right now, so I'll probably need to add some weight to bottom-back to help balance it out. I also need to adjust the placement of the arm attachments a little bit, they are set too far back right now so it throws the shoulder bells off a little bit.

Picked up some Smooth-Cast Onyx today, along with some fiberglass cloth so that I can secure the helmet to the neck seal as well :thumbsup

Well it's been a while since I've updated, but this guy is officially done! I just need to snap some final pictures and (carefully) pack him up!

That is a really remarkable piece :) this has been a really great built to follow. Now about that other flight stabilizer you have lying around, I'll be more than happy to take her off your hands ;)
