DREDD 3D (2012) - Helmet Build - Finished Page 7

I wanted to start a build thread for the Judge Dredd 2012 Helmet. I gathered a bunch of high res references off the interwebs and mocked up the helmet in SolidWorks. Using the camera's in the 3d program and modeling off of the original sculpt photos I was able to come up with this. It’s about as close as I can get and still match up multiple camera views. I based the scale of the helmet off of the table that was used in the original sculpture pictures. The table is 3/4's of an inch thick and I just used some fancy measuring to find a close scale. Based on other helmets I've build in the 3d world it seems about right.

Let me know what you guys think.

I always liked the oldschool style helmet. Interested in one as well, if you're going into production.

And a little forced perspective trick. To see if I like the scale. Bad cell pic but it does the trick. : )

wanna keep it to where you can fit up to about a 24.5 so it will fit %90 or the people who buy them.

Rough mill front. I'll go in and add fine details after I seal up the foam.
