Skyrim Dragon Priest mask

Hey all, I'm new here but I thought I'd share one of my first builds, the Dragon Priest mask from Skyrim.

Started with a pep file from Hugh Holder over at the 405th.



Then glassed the outside and rotocasted the inside with polyurethane, then moved to the bondo.



Finally added the crest with some cardboard and spot putty.



Then molded with Tap Silicone RTV



Pulled some casts



And done! This one was painted like Volsung.



Even got this one signed by Adam Savage.

I don't play the game but I can appreciate the work you put into this. Nice Job! I bet Adam Savage is a nice guy.

It's funny that you post that picture. For those not familiar with it, this pic was taken at the Bay Area Maker Faire. I've seen Adam speak at every Bay Area Maker Faire he's attended. A wonderful experience all around!

Thanks for the kind words! It was really thrilling to meet Adam Savage. This year they were really strict on photos, so I got kind of lucky. It is awesome listening to him speak each year, and he even mentioned the rpf in his speech this year and pepakura modeling.

Nice work! I'm actually working on a dragon priest mask myself with a pepakura file and fibreglass reinforcement. Now I have something to live up to!
