What an absolutely faultless conversion! There's no doubt the kit is a great starting point to do either of the two versions, but the detailed progress you are making here is hugely impressive. That cabin looks superb! Brilliant find with the Shuttle nozzle as well! I had to build mine up with apoxie sculpt and alot of patience.
I thought Guys build was the best yet but this is going some way to beat even that. Still ,the kit is very well produced. I'm particularly impressed with the rear engine casting that F & M have managed, the fit and detail there looks near perfect. God i'm tempted to get one of these!

    Thanks guys !

I'm really happy with this model, it's just beautiful ! The B is very graceful !

I'm looking for this decal :

Can anyone help me please ?

It's a USAF insignia for sure, I have no luck finding pics of the original decals that come in the 1/32 Tamiya Tomcat and Hasegawa F-18.

It's 1/32, no doubt ! I should have a similar USAF insignia decal in one of my 1/32 Falcon, but if I can find the right one (even if I have to print it myself), it'll be better, so anyone knows this Squadron or have the original decals and could post a high rez pic of it ?

    Thanks in advance !

I may be wrong, but I believe it to be the badge for the 1st tactical fighter wing. https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...=1920&bih=1098

Here are a few examples. I cannot find one that actually says 1st tactical fighter wing, which is what I believe the decal actually says. I can't be sure due the pictures, but I think that I'm on the right track.

Considering the lighting and hectic pace, that's a dang fine compliment!

Ok I found some 0.25 mm styrene sheet so I was able to do the missing armor plates !

Well I ran into a big problem, I was not able to vacform them over the F-14 tanks :s The rear panels were the biggest problem. So I cut thin strips and do like a ship hull

I added the last details : styrene chips, wires etc

Dont forget the styrene strips on the side of the 312T engine

These strips were part of the casting on the original so you have to do the same on the bottom too !

    Some more wires...

One strip was missing on the Saturn stage so I added one in styrene.

I rebuilt the boxes that sit on the Saturn stage, the original were not tall enough. I also added a piece of styrene that is only on the Orange as far as I know.

    Wires, styrene details etc...

More panels, too bad, it was to late when I noticed I was taking ref of the blue B for the upper panels :s I can live with that

Opposite side (the panels are right on this side) :

I did shot a light coat primer to see the imperfections :

Hmm can spot 2 tiny airbubbles on the leading edge of the wing that I need to fix !

    Hope you like

Guys, I need your help again, I'm bad in English so you will probably find the words I'm missing !

    What do you read ?

    I read

    CAUTION
    DOOR TO MUST BE
    CLOSED CLOSED DURING INLET
    DONT XXXX CHECKOUT

I'm missing the "XXXX" words, please correct me if the other are wrong ! Thank you in advance (I read "pamp")
