I've started uploading work in progress pics to my album here on my profile. I wish there was an easy way embed those pics here, without having to open another window, copy the URL, etc. There should be a button in the toolbar that just lets you drop pics right from your album here.... But I digress... here they are:

Here are some 3D printing experiments I've done with modifying pep files for printing. These are straight out of the printer and need further cleaning of support material and obviously need body work. I'm using a custom built printer, based off the MendelMax, with a 0.4mm nozzle and a 0.2 layer height. These prints are in clear PLA. The hands are using Zabana's hand files, modified by Darkside501st, further modified by me. The helmet in progress is by Omarbou1, modified and sliced by me.

My latest creation: War Machine and now I've custom sculpted and cast my own gauntlets. I'll never have to create another pair out of foam again! Yay!

Sorry if its inappropriate to comment this here....but i wasnt getting any help out there

I just need some basic information about foam crafting

I dont know much about crafting. Did make 2 foam costumes before... but for my lack of knowledge about resins or necessary materials i just used wood glue to coat the foam and spray paint over it...
But now i want to learn foam crafting properly
so for example I MAKE A COSTUME WITH FOAM. Then what do i do?
i mean to harden it. to make it look smooth. etc etc
***Can any one please please please give me a step by step guide on it?***

Thank for the time to read my post

Here are my Mark VI and War Machine Mk 1 suits. They have lights, although you can't see them here because this was at a con. The gloves are also super simplified gloves for the con, I have much better ones, but they're not exactly good for conventions where I need to handle stuff. (War Machine also has a minigun, too clunky for the con)

Does anyone have any good tips for the gloves though?
