Getting Ready for the Dark Knight Rises

My oldest son is the manager of a restaurant that's hosting a Bring On The Knight party on Thursday that's being held in conjunction with the local movie theater chain to premiere the movie. He's been tapped to play Batman, and one of his co-workers has been tapped to play Bane, and we've been working on getting their costumes ready to go. They will be staging a fight scene at the theater, so we've been getting their outfits assembled as best we can.

I'm going as my favorite star of the movie, Hines Ward, so I'll just be wearing my 86 Steelers jersey. :)

Pics to follow.

One problem we're having with my son's Batman suit is it is way too glossy. Any one have any suggestions for a way to make vinyl/rubber armor look more flat? I was thinking about using dullcoat or a flat black paint, but thought it might attack the rubber or just flake off.
