    Thanks so much and welcome to The RPF!

    My first thought... GO FOR IT! Dont think... do it! Second, I would try using 1/8" MDF. At that thickness, MDF is very durable, flexible and, depending on where you find it, can be very inexpensive. I get my sheets of MDF for $8 ea. Most lumber warehouses should sell MDF (in various thickness) in 4 foot by 8 foot sheets.

    $8 for a 4 X 8 sheet of MDF What's the thickness on that baby???????????? And, if true, I'll move to Alabama next month!
