Dunno, the article wasn't very clear. It doesn't sound like it's just the one, cause they would probably sell for a charity auction or something, and it says something like "now fans can show their loyalty to the force by buying a millennium falcon cockpit" or something.

Concerning 1/4 scale kit licensing, on YouTube, TESTED showcased a laser cut MF kit that got around paying the man for the rights to sell kits. This guy called his kit the YT-1300 freighter. It was understood that Disney nor Lucasfilm owned the copyright to YT-1300.

Just some afternoon thoughts.

Could you maybe make a few videos? I'd personally like to see a quick little walk around of the 1:1 Falcon as it sits. Also, it'd be cool to see the laser cutter working on parts, if that's something filmable.

Hi Gang,

A Quick Morning Update!

Adhered the cockpit entrance panels and painted

Worked on a few more little greeblies

The MK4 Box didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted... Redo!

I painted this greeblie - next to his big brother!

That's a LOT of 1/4 scale greeblies...

How do they all look in place?

The little circuit board is white acrylic painted black. I then laser cut the lines into the black paint then sprayed with a high gloss clear.

LOL! As I've tried to explain... I went mental a LONG time ago.

I really want to finish this version and move forward with V2. With all the CNC, laser cutter and 3D print files we have on hand it certainly wouldn't take 4+ years to build. We could knock out the shells in less than a month! But... we have to see V1 through to completion!

Hi Gang,

Hope you enjoy this morning's update!

Weathering began on all the 1/4 scale greeblies

Remember these oddly shaped greeblies? There are 3 of them in the cockpit (2 black and one silver)

UGH... crinkle time

Overall, I think it's turning out ok. 1 "almost" down and two to go!

A Sea of Greeblies...

Still lots of work to do to include jumping back over to the full scale which I "hope" I'll be get to this weekend.
