My BTTF Inspired Bag V2 Page 4

Re: My BTTF Inspired Bag

Done. WOW what a stretch. Tapered ends, wrap around lids with recessed handles. Just need to work out how to add those little rounded parts to the handles and add in some support ribs on the tapered ends and this is good to go.

Re: My BTTF Inspired Bag

Thanks Greeky04. The next step is make copies that I can pull apart into the individual components. There is a few fine details still to add, but I guess it might be easier to do them with this in pieces.

Re: My BTTF Inspired Bag

Are you planning to do the frosted ends? And will the mags fit in this

It would be cool (expensive?) to do the frosted ends but I know that there is a product out there that is perfect for the application. And yes, the MAGs will fit as I have based this on the movie prop.

Re: My BTTF Inspired Bag

Nice work! Looking forward to seeing more on this one! :)

Looking great :p

Thanks Guys. I have started to break it down into individual components and make sure that each part is solid and actually makerable (is that even a word?).

I have noticed when watching the HD versions of the films that there are some ribs that can be seen on the screen used prop, so added them to mine.

My BTTF Inspired Bag

Outstanding work Cavx, this is going to look so good with the Mags :) the frosted ends I think could be easily achieved with frosted 1mm plexiglass, hardest part would be cutting it into a circular shape unless it can be sourced pre cut, I will have a hunt :)

Re: My BTTF Inspired Bag

Thanks shoxxo, so am I :) In the end of the day, I want a tube bag that can actually be used. I lugged that PVC bag through a shopping centre once and I am not in any hurry to do that again. Big and heavy and not very easy to carry great distances. Not that this new tube bag is going to be any easier to carry (due to the diameter) but at least it will be lighter than the PVC version.

Re: My BTTF Inspired Bag

New to Pep unfolds, so not sure if this is right, but hopefully it is.

This is what I think an unfold of the tapered end will look like. Any PEP experts want to chime in?

Not sure if this is right, but this is what I have in mind to allow this tube bag to be made from flat materials, bent and glued.

Moving on to the graphics. I found this on line

I thought the font looked wrong and after a bit of a play I came up with this

The Os in the FOOTWEAR still look a but too square so anyone has the proper art work that they are prepared to share, please post it in this thread.
The white rectangle is the handle cutout.
