I don't begrudge anybody their opinion one way or the other, or for them to let it be known. If you were to say, "This is how I judge a movie, and given these guidelines that are personal to me, this is how i feel about ________ (<-add movie title here)," I'd accept it and move on. It's when said opinion is touted as indisputable fact that bother's me (and sometimes makes me overreact). And you have to admit, you have a tendency towards the latter.

So I'd say yes, tone it down (e.g. your most recent response in the Man of Steel thread), but you don't have to sit back and keep quiet.
