Teecrooz’s Prop Collection: Updated: 22nd of December, 2023

Re: My Lightsaber Builds (All Real Parts and Replicas)

Oooooo, I like the Obi-Wan robes & belt :thumbsup

The Sideshow 3P0 is nice, although they did screw up the thumbs. I do like the articulated fingers however. I took a photo of my SS 3P0 giving a rude hand gesture :lol. Otherwise. I think the Die Cast Tamashi is king 3P0.

But that 1:1 3P0 head, you have, is drool candy for me :love God, I'd love one of those in my collection!

As I've said before, awesome collection sir :cheers

Re: My Lightsaber Builds (All Real Parts and Replicas)

Some Vader goodies arrived after several months of trying to get them here.

What's the little lens next to 3PO's head, there? Is that a restraining bolt or something? I don't recognize it.

That’s right! It’s an ARRI lens that was used for a restraining bolt. It might not be 100% the right model but it was a good price considering what they usually sell for. It does disassemble to be very close though.

I bought a small portable photobox that works with my iPhone (or any phone) and some small platforms for flat surfaces or reflections. I want to get one that is a little bit larger, but here is what I have so far:

Okay, so you have to take bits off of it to get it looking closer to a restraining bolt?

Of the one I bought, yes. I don’t know the exact correct model. I’ll see what I can do and post a new picture.

Re: My Lightsaber Builds (All Real Parts and Replicas)

I got a cheapie photo box earlier this year. The photos you get, even with a phone, are incredible! You'll run around your house looking for stuff to photograph :lol

Dang!!! Same exact one I was looking at! Didn’t know of the platforms! Thanks for the links

Re: My Lightsaber Builds (All Real Parts and Replicas)

Next piece of a puzzle has arrived. I already have several Reade model sets put aside as well as scope mount and flash hider options. Going to be looking for a suitable Mauser now.

I need to thank the rpf member who helped make this possible and I hope he enjoys what will be going in the mail to him.

Re: My Lightsaber Builds (All Real Parts and Replicas)

Here are some updates, more to come later today.

First, Macrobinoculars! Thank you @scottjua for the assembly and paint and @DarkLyte for the stand!

This is a project I never intended on undertaking, but the part hunt was fun and the cobbled together found items are a favorite of mine. Also, some thanks are in order for @trooper for his transition box, wedge, lens plate, and for selling me a green tab VTR plate to go on my box. Thank you @THX1138 for the VTR box and Eumig, and pointing me down this path. Another thanks to @scottjua for some early eBay assistance. :)

Very happy to have this one. Might just add some wires to the 8 pin connectors when I feel like a small project is in order.
