Stormtrooper Oddities

Looks like this trooper has his belt on inside-out, as you can clearly see how the straps of the holster are attached to the belt by either pop-snaps or rivetted in place... normally this is hidden from view between the belt and the lower-back armour...

Hah. Never noticed that.

Here are some more.

Just out of interest, even my girlfriend pointed out that when the two troopers get called into the falcon and get blasted by Han and Luke, they must have been two darn good shots in between the armour pieces. You'll notice there's no blast points when han/luke have the armour on (just tryin to pay attention to detail).

But did they get blasted by Han and Luke? How do we know for sure that the shots we hear being fired were from Han and Luke...and not from the Stormtroopers firing at them?

Maybe Han and Luke hit them over the head with something and knocked them out? Or maybe Chewie made them smell his armpits? We don't really know for sure...do we? (That plus the fact that it's just a film, lol)

Cheers, Gord.

And we know Han would never shoot someone who didn't shoot first. Oh, wait a minute....

And where did Han and Luke put their clothes? When they get out of the trash compactor and take off the trooper suits, they are back in their clothes. Were they wearing these UNDER the body suit and trooper armor? Han's vest/BLACK RIDING BOOTS/Luke's Karate shirt/denim pants/and strap boots???...

Because a DL44 makes a completely different sound from an E-11 :)

Good point...well presented. (Smart- :booty) j/k ;)

Cool thread...love this stuff :D

Cheers, Gord.

Could that holster actually be for the rebel forces? Looking at the pic it looks like the belt is upside down which would make the holster be on the right hip. You would never be able to place the TK blaster in the holster on that side and it would never fit that holster shape. Maybe they needed a holster and the rebel one was the only one available.

I can't wait to see Star Wars on HD-DVD or BluRay or whatever hi-def format wins through.  :D

Great thread. The trooper on the far right is wearing his Star Wars underoos or something. Maybe it's the garter system?

I do believe that is a garter. It looks just like the one I wore under my hockey equipment.
