My Dishes came in, and man, these are a very nice set. For the price I love them way more than expensive modern day patterns. Here is a table setting as seen in the WDW Haunted Mansion:

Romantic England Red (Embossed, Scroll Edge) Pattern

- 10" Dinner Plate
- 7" Dessert/Pie Plate
- Flat Cup and Saucer Set

For Glassware, I went with King's Crown-Ruby Flashed (Though Cranberry is supposedly correct, I like the deep red better)

-4" Claret Wine Glass (Large 2-3/8" throat)
-3-5/8" Wine Glass (Small 1-7/8" throat)

I have 6 place setting's worth, I just need to get me the cutlery, trying to find it at under $50 a setting.

Nice. Where did you get them?

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro

I grabbed them from:
http://www.replacements.com/

i grabbed the last of the glasses they had in these sizes though.

All the patterns are discontinued, so to find them all in one place, I just took the plunge. Worked out to about $67 per setting glasses included.

They pop up all the time on ebay. Just search "Haunted Mansion place setting"

Yup. Seen em on eekBay. Often pricey. Thought about the blue versions from Disneyland as they are still in production :)

Right, but there they are $140/ setting. and you get whichever pieces they are selling at the time. (ex. the plate, saucer, cup, a bowl and 2 pieces of cutlery the cost of which is $93.5 on replacements.com) I'd rather save the $50 on that one. Plus, I got all 6 settings at once, that's not likely on ebay from what I've seen.

Absolutely, we got the Florida one for a similar reason (we can find the blue later), also, I've never been to the california one so sentimental value of the reds is kool. Plus, it's different art on each piece, whereas the blue is the same art on each piece.

This doesn't seem bad:
https://www.amazon.com/Spode-Blue-I...1476388282&sr=8-1&keywords=blue+spode+italian

However, I think it's the wrong style of cups, and doesn't have saucers and only 4 settings, so maybe just go for the plates at the discount.

Here's what I see on replacements.com:

It's what I'll use for comparison to the new sets, just keeping an eye out.

I'd swear they had the right cups last year...but who can say. Good to know replacements has them. I have two of the red glasses and two each of the tea cups/saucers that were purportedly used in the Disneyland Haunted Mansion. I guess they do change them out form time to time according to some friends who are cast members.

Yeah, who knows what they could possibly swap out between the Holiday makeover and the regular.

They do have the right cup on amazon, just not in that set:

It seems like they are comparable, shop around before you buy.

Greetings fellow HM fans. I'm just getting back to reading up on this thread so I have not gone through 25 pages yet. I wanted to post so I get this on my subscription page and also to share my latest sculpture of the gallery Candle Grotesque. I know people call it a gargoyle but it doesn't spout water so I call it a grotesque. Anyways, I'll probably start a build thread on this but wanted to share with the true HM fans first. Please remember these are progress pics and represent the working process of figuring out proportions and what not. At this point the head is only roughed out and I feel it is not proportioned correctly.

I guess my dream is to actually cast this in bronze (as I have done a lot of bronze cast prop work here) but the price of this would be astronomical! I guess I'll settle for fiberglass when all is said and done.

Exceptional work...indeed!

I've had one of Rylo's for years I need to buckle down, assemble, and paint :)

I've been doing Haunted Mansion inspired prop replicas for ages with first a CNC and now 3D printing...you've inspired me to dig through for some pics :)

I'll start with this one. A bottle stopper set I made...

Finally got around to working on the Haunted Mansion Corbel.

Last trip I was able to lag in between about four/five groups (did not want to spoil the mood for folks) and take more than a couple ref photos of it with my Nikon using a flash ;) ...and while I was at it hit the snake door handle as well. Sadly I only had the built in flash and I was taking so many pics it kept overheating! That'll teach me... ;)

Anyway...bearing in mind it's a work in progress...here are a few pics. I also made a version with a shelf on top with a ridge to keep stuff from falling off. I can see a couple of these mounted on the wall with pillar candles. Probably print a couple 1:1ish.

Oooh. Cool. I could use a couple of those in my HM display.

Love the Corbels. I'll be adding a build thread soon but wanted to share today's progress on the "Candlegoyle" . I wanted to work on the head and face but ended up reworking some proportions on the legs and arms. I did figure out what the issues were in the head though bu did not get to them yet.

awesome! I've been dying to get started on a handful of replicas I have planned from HM, I'm slowly in the process of turning my tv room into a Haunted Mansion room.

That looks amazing!! Loving it and maybe you can do a run of those *wink wink nudge nudge*

Thanks for the kind words!

I'm just a tinker. I don't sell stuff. Make it mostly for myself, but also as an occasional gift for family and such. That point aside I use two main pieces of tech. A Laguna Tools IQ CNC and an Ultimaker 2E+ 3D printer. Would definitely not be cost effective in either case to mass produce...but then there is that not selling thing ;)
