when we moved house a few years ago, my wife put the foot down: the new house was not allowed to look like a toy store. everything would be contained to ONLY one room. (a spare bedroom).
having given all my 'toys' to the kids, (see other thread), I had shifted my collecting focus to 1:1 props and costumes.
--> this is the spare bedroom (it spills out into the hallway)
(these pics are a few months old , I've added a "height extension" to the billy shelves so I could display more stuff.
(theres a few more helmets on display now : another TK bucket(efx), and a blackhole storptrooper(MR).
(I've also added a bunch of large format lego kits -- there's always room for jello -- err.. I mean
LEGO.)

the 2 jedi costumes are home-made -- I did all the soft parts myself, and sourced the rest through Ebay and Rebel Legion. (I also made obi-wan's boot-spats).
and YES! I've worn these costumes in public.
the "girls" T-shirt, was an art project I did with my daughter -- we made it so she could wear it to school a few years ago on 'may4th'. (the kids at school loved it).
the 11x17 photos (boba, 3p0, chewie, han) were taken by me, with my own camera, at one of the traveling Lucasfilm exhibits.
