My PETER PAN costume from HOOK

Awesome. Love the movie, sadly there are not so many props out, because there are not so many IN the movie...

But your stuff is great...

Love this. Glad u gave all the great details here! Ur costumes have always been top notch. I love u did something different. The sword is really nice. Congrats on a greta prop. Again, great work my friend.

This is so fantastic! Not only are your details spot on, but the materials you chose look incredibly close to those in the movie. Overall an incredible and genuine look. Not to mention the hair is also great. And I was also going to say you look just like his younger version...but older. Like he made a trip back in between where he left and came back as an old, fat, grandpa man. :lol

Ohh, I'd better be careful before I turn this post/thread into a quotefest!

Seriously, amazing work! Very impressive!

BANGARANG! That's fantastic dude! Great Great Job, I've ALWAYS loved that story, that movie,...the costume,...that sword.....I wants! :D ha ha

I have an autograph from Robin Williams dressed as Peter Banning with Tink pulling at his bow tie. He signed it, Happy Thoughts! Robin Williams. Also I have a pair of pants from one of the lost boys and one of the jackets of one of the lost boys.

i doubt a convention could ever happen

you think by now hook would be on blu ray

HOOK is on BLuRay Now!!! Making the costume would have been much easier with a bluray copy... i worked from the Dvd and had to guess alot. There are only some slightly new details i never noticed before, but arent big enough for me to change at the moment. I wore Pan to Dragon Con this past year too and met 2 rufio's. I met my friend Eric here on day 1 of the Con right when I picked up my pass. I told him to be sure to wear Rufio again Sunday night when I wear Pan. I didnt get his contact info, just hopped he would follow through.

Well sunday night came and right as i got on the floor (which is really crowded) , and right as Im telling my gf to keep an Eye out for a Rufio, I spot him up on the Balcony. I yelled RUFIO....we both Crowed..... and the night got outta control from there..... lets just say Peter tried to act like an adult that night and had more than 1 too many... He ended up talking to John most of the night... lol

But it was a fun night and we got some great pics Together. Hopefully next year he will get a good wig for the suit. It was alot of fun getting pics with a Rufio, hope too see a great hook done again. I plan to wear peter as a regular costume of mine now. Here are some new pics. I shortened my belt finally since it was too long.

As far as making the costume goes.... I am not selling this ever. This is a costume I have always wanted myself as well, and I worked really hard on getting it all together.

It isnt overly complex to make. Just studied alot of photos and stills from the film. Ref my pics , which are slightly clearer than most shots out there.

As for the sword, i posted on the previous page how i basically built my newer prop version. Use that as a guideline to make one.
