The Burbs' Town model/houses seen on intro??

Im facinated by the film the Burbs', even more so by the scale model of the town and houses used in the intro.

Im looking for any info on who made it, where it may be now, what scale would have been used??

This does of course all assume that it is in fact a model! it is so well done, but I am pretty sure it is.

Any help guys?
