Just for fun, me and two of my 3 sons put together this little Discovery 1 out of a dowel, a ball finial, a toothpick or two, a cut up juice box straw and some balsa pieces...we just wanted a quick and dirty fun project.
By the way...my helpers are only 4 and 5 years old.
Model is about 8 inches long. Sometimes it's fun to just throw something together rather than worry about details, scale and the like.
