There has been a few older threads goin round about the movie we all knew an love when we were kids of the 80s always wondered where the ship went..

wiiki says..

One of the hulls underwent refurbishment and is currently used as the Cool Ship in Tomorrowland of Magic Kingdom the other ship is below...

can anyone confirm where this is? im sure it would be Disney/Hollywood backlot?

That sits at Orlando Hollywood Studios, formerly Disney MGM Studios. If you ride the backlot tour, the tram passes right by it.
 
Yeah saw it about 2 yrs ago, was very sad to see it in its condition, cool that it is sitting next to a snowspeeder from Star Wars though. Looks like a giant nerf spiral football to me, always has.
 
That snow speeder is not original though, just the one that originally sat outside the Star Tours ride.
