My collection is always sorta in Flux as I seem to move stuff around and I need two new Glas Cabinets (starting to run out of space) that I will place on either side of my Storm Trooper Armor...I anticipate that the Mrs will fight with all she got against those Glas Cabinets but resistance is Futile...trust me :p

I just wanted to show that I can make models of other stuff,.......not a Falcon.....not Star Wars,....not even Sci-Fi.....gasp!!

I built this Merkava for the 'Big Spring contest' on Scale Model Addict last year & won Bronze

A wee bit of modification was added to make the non-slip rough surface.....I glued sandpaper to the model

Some of my models:

My Avatar, a tinkered decoration piece made of popsticks, ear sticks, a drinking straw, a table tennis ball, cardboard and other household items.
That's how I (re-)started, until some cool guys showed me the real art of kitbashing and scratchbuilding.

Back in the 70's as a young tacker I use to love building the original Star Wars kits. My memories of the kits were long lasting. They were decent size models, but the overall fit and finish were terrible. But since there were no other options I think we all just put up with it. These days we have Bandai, and these kits are light years ahead of those old kits. Their precise fit and super detail even outdoes Tamiya. Anyway I've finished a few Star Wars kits now and they are on permanent display in my cinema cabinet. I've made a quick video of some of the models. My problem is that the more I finish the more I want.

Hi All,

My little 1/2500 star ship collection, which still needs the attention of a paint brush. The frosted models are all 3D printed and are generally one-offs. With the lack of available models I wanted (mostly Stargate) I taught myself 3D modelling and .stl correction so I can now make pretty much any ship I want, and print the little one's I can afford lol. I also wanted to have all the fighters swarming around the capital ships and have all the B5 fighters, as well as the BSG Vipers and Raiders with the smallest printed model being only 3.54mm. The connecting sprue is 1mm diameter for ref.
