I agree. You can tell that Luke is reacting to what Yoda is saying with this pose, rather than a static pose.

I'm a big fan of Mike Hills latest works which are really expressive and totally amazing. So I want this my first lifesized human character piece to have a very intense feel to it like Mikes works...

Mikes work it truly great and the level of emotion he captures in his work is phenomenal.

I think if this ends up even half as good as one of his recent pieces, you won't have done bad at all

Heres the latest pic of the statue.... did quite a bit of work on his forearms last night... ended up using a mirror like with most of this sculpt for a lot of the musculature :lol

Incredible work Phil, I think this could be your crowning glory!

What form of armature have you built under all that clay? I'm guessing it must be something that allows you to easily adjust posture with jointed limbs like a mannequin?
