"Bond 23"

They should make Bond into a woman next.

"All women want to be her, all men want to be with her".

You bet it could work.

"My name is Bond, Jane Bond."

Nah, if you're going to do that, the tagline needs to be "All women want to be her, all men AND WOMEN want to be with her!"

Sorry, I enjoyed Craig as Bond and I'm happy that he's coming back. Bond devolved into so much camp that it became a parody of itself. It's nice to see studios taking the stories a bit more seriously.

Except all they did is make him James Bourne.

Maybe we could get Timothy Dalton back.

Borne is a <expletive, referring to a woman's anatomy, deleted> compared to Craig's Bond. Craig's Bond is better looking, FAR more debonair, classy, and all around awesome.

Quantum of Solace was a bit of a mess, but the Craig version of Casino Royal sets the standard for the intelligent rebooting of moribund film franchises IMO.

God knows the Broccoli family can be their own worst enemy creatively speaking, but every once in a while they manage to micro-manage their way into a decent script.

Here's hoping the pieces fall into place for Bond 23.

I have to say that I was not impressed with the Craig films so far. But with Sam Mendes at the helm, maybe he can turn me into a believer.

Yeah, well, if Sam Mendes thinks he's going to put his personal creative stamp on Bond 23 he's in for a rude awakening.

When it comes to Bond, directors tend not to make much of a difference one way or the other, at least not as far as the final product is concerned.

For better or worse, these films are made by the producers (with a lot of help from the stunt coordinators). Always have been.

I wouldn't say I "love" the Prequels. But Yes on Trek. And the Transformers. And Star Treks 1 & 5. ESB is barely watchable anymore.

Amazing isn't it.

So how am I lacking now?

Just stupid? Not sensitive enough? Haven't studied "film" enough? Am I Hitler?

Why do you guys give a flying **** what I like or don't like?

It truly amazes me the fear I inspire and the power my opinion apparently has.

See how stupid that sounds.

And for the record, I just gave both Nolan Batmans another go, I am warming up to them. But TDK is still seriously overrated.

Casino Royale was a fantastic reboot. QOS, although not great, was leaps and bounds better than the last 3 Brosnan films or anything Roger Moore did which automatically puts it at least in the mid-range as far as Bond movies go.

I'm looking forward to them moving past the "creation of Bond" story and on to some fresh stuff. I think it could be REALLY good.

See, it isn't only the guys that say pervy things! Good one firesprite! :lol

Thank ya, thank ya vera much! Honestly, if you ever meet me IRL and talk to me, that's pretty tame. :lol

Let's leave Mic alone, guys. He's entitled to his opinion. And for the record, I also enjoyed Transformers and 'Nu' Trek so let's not go there.
