Today I took a break from my Falcon and Cloud City Diorama to put this guy together. I should have it done later tonight..

Re: SDCC Bandai B-Wing 1/72 WIP

That's a great start. Love the weathering on the lower gun. Looks to be a really detailed kit. I hope bandai makes an imperial shuttle from Jedi.

Thanks! I'm hoping to carry that weathering through the whole model. I'd love an Imperial Shuttle, too.

It's looking really great. May I ask what colours of paint you applied? I'm referring to the blue/grey on the wingtips in particular. I'm trying to figure out what to use on my own build.

SDCC Bandai B-Wing 1/72 is done! Well, I need to light it still but that is the easy part...

Here's a few shots with the flash on. I like these since they splash a ton of light on the model and let you see how good of a job you did painting and weathering.

The B-Wing landing gear is conjectural- it is hidden underneath the fighter when we do see one parked in Home One. I would love to see a set made for this kit- I would buy another kit just to be able to use it, I like showing fighters parked for serviceing

Well, conjectual is right! Now I finally have my copy of the kit, I am having to make quite a few adjustments to my drawings, though the landing gear concepts still work, so I'm keeping that just as it is. If anyone with the skills to 3D off my plans want to have at it, please do!

Now I'm thinking of crew entry/egress concepts...
Regards, Robert
