The Definitive CW Arrow Thread

this might seem like a dumb question at this point, but how many arrows does oliver carry in his back quiver?
Season 1 DVD cover shows 3, the 7 inch action figure looks like 8 but they are molded together.
On the show seems to varies depending on the scene but at least the show is kind of honest in that he has run out of arrows.

Edit: The in show reference was 24 total, so you have to subtract 3 forearm flechettes then how ever many in the leg quiver to determine the number in the back. Easier to count from a photo and go with what looks good.

I was told by John Wesley Shipp that his flash costume is outer shell is leather and inner shell is spandex, so it's possible green arrow costume is the same thing if that hasn't been addressed.

He was not 100% correct. The jacket is lined with a stretch material, bit its not Spandex. His shell was made with leather and other materials, including the printed bolt texture.

In show he is said to carry 24 in his back quiver in season 1, however in real life, seasons 1-3 had about 9 arrows in the back quiver. season 4-5 had 32 in the back quiver

I'm not sure if this has already been addressed yet, but what did you guys do for the pants. I'd like them screen accurate of course, and it looks as though they're made of a stretchy fabric underneath with the leather material sewn on. How did you guys go about doing it?

I'm also wondering if it would be easier to just buy the hood or make my own.

This is for a season 1 build, by the way.

If you want them screen-accurate in leather, just join Emerald Archers group in facebook. They sell it there.

Found no mention in the OP and have exhausted my own knowledge on this; does anybody know the proper name for the type of buckle used on the quiver straps. It is the plastic clip buckle with the circular pattern. I have searched for these phrases but come up empty so figure there must be a proper phrase for them that I am not thinking of.

You can use bixby if you have a Samsung galaxy s8 or ask someone who does?

Haven't posted in this thread in a long time, but needed to pull some images and info as I'm finally working on the Season 1 bow, and hoping to upgrade my current season 2 bow to something better. I do love that this thread has remained pretty active all these years. So much more info I get to look over again. You have not failed this community.
