It's funny, looking at that Life magazine cover; when that photographer goes to fire off that shot I don't think the flash is going to activate because the triggering cable it isn't connected!
Great picture, though, and always fun to see a Graflex in it's "natural element". I always keep an eye out for vintage flashes in period movies, lol.

dcarty : Did he remove the darkslide to actually take a picture on his negative? I love spotting a vintage G R A F L E X camera with flashguns in movies too ... in "Bridge of Spies' by Spielberg the floor was littered with the bulbs :wacko
