Attaching Flash Hider to Denix - How?

I have a Denix Mauser and a Luke ESB Flash Hider, and am having trouble thinking of a sturdy way of attaching it to the barrel. Is there a "go to" way of doing this? Maybe someone share their method? Thanks!

As above and if happen to go to far (or ever get an MGC, must be slightly slimmer barrel) use gaffer or painters tape 1 wrap at a time to thicken back up. Also depends on the version as some have a screw on the bottom and that can give extra support with a small dimple put into the barrel. I had a ROTJ version that was epoxied and unfortunately the FH wasn’t accurate enough for me so I had to swap the Denix upper out because it wasn’t ever coming off.

Thanks all for the replies!

I have one other, mostly unrelated question regarding weathering the flash hider:

For those who have used aluminum black for weathering, did you cover the whole flash hider, then sand/buff off the parts you wanted to show through? Or did you use it sparingly only on the parts you really wanted to darken up? I have never used aluminum black before, so I dont want to go overboard with it and end up putting more on than I get back off... thinking mostly about the fine ridges...

Would you happen to have any photos of your finished one?

Here's a video of my DL44. But keep in mind my FH is steel and I used a blowtorch. But I did strip the finish off the Denix completely and used AB to refinish it. I also used Super Blue on the steel parts.

Here's a crystal chamber I built for my Vader MPP. This might be a bit more applicable since I used AB on the aluminum pieces. I also used brass black on the brass and copper bits.

All in all I used the same process and in each case (AB, BB, SB) I was able to knockdown and control the intensity of the weathering effects afterwards.
