I try and position them so the bottom two grilles stick out a bit farther than the top part as they do on the film prop..

Your more than welcome! Thanks for the kind words. It's always a work in progress with these builds as I'm sure you well know.

Please share any and all improvement that you come across yourself [emoji482][emoji106]

Your attention to detail is amazing and I really appreciate the step-by-step instructions. There's one aspect of the design that confuses me. Why is the lettering of the M19 scope colored in white crayon? It doesn't seem like the Master Replicas Luke ESB blaster or (from what I can tell) the actual prop have these features...but I'm not certain of it.

Thanks for taking the time to read the thread. [emoji482]

Master Replica's blaster are really nice but they take their own liberties and (like everyone's) not 100% film accurate unfortunately.

When building the actual film prop back in '79 an original, authentic m19 scope was used. I believe they all have the writing colored in in white as well. This is not a replica but an actual m19..

The crayon is the best way to show the writing that has been engraved. Not sure how it was originally done but crayon works well regardless. It also works well with the DEC scope wheel [emoji106]
