What's on your workbench? (no Star Wars, Marvel or DC stuff)

Re: What's on your workbench?

Well it was this...

And then I cleaned it off so I could actually work on things and make room for my new heat press.

Man I had metal everywhere. I had to come to terms with the fact that I just couldn't use every scrap.

Re: What's on your workbench?

Its time to kick the tyres and light the fires under this little project. The blue has been repainted to what I believe to be a better shade.

Frames built and my 2-3-2 leg test rig works niiiiice so on we go with the build (just got to cut the bottom out for the centre leg to retract into the frame as per my test rig). Barring any unforeseen issues he should be up and rolling for the 40th anniversary....

Beep dee beep boop....

Re: What's on your workbench?

love the spray booth

Thanks. :lol

I really only have it because there are like two things on my desk that I didn't want to get paint on. I've never had an airbrush before, but I'll probably be getting one of those collapsible spray booth things before my next project.

I'm working on a sword for Oberon in "A Midsummer Nights Dream", I want it to have the look and feel of the woodland and the delicate nature of the fairy realm. The sword is constructed of thin sheets of MDF which are edged with wood filler. The original design comes from the Elven swords in "The Lord of the Rings" movies.

Re: What's on your workbench?

Decided to take a break from my Anovos Stormtrooper kit to introduce my kids to building models. Started with the Bandai ANH Stormtrooper. These things go together so easily and quickly. It's been a real fun build so far!
