This may seem a little unorthodox, but here is an image of one of my lightsaber builds. I've turned a few wooden ones now and this is perhaps my favorite. It's made of osage orange and purple heart. No paints, stains, or dies.

Very cool. It looks great!
Osage Orange is one of the few woods that can be used to make a self longbow. So your saber is made from genuine weapon material. I have a Yew longbow that I made.

So I basically scrapped every saber I've done unless I REALLY liked it. Basically, I now see my custom sabers like Legos. I'll tear them down if I have a better idea.

Here's a new one I'm super proud of...

It's a rebuild of what I think Anakin's first saber should have been instead of the MPP/Icons knock off.

For some reason, wooden sabers have always fascinated me ever since I was a kid. I've had half a mind to build one myself out of an old piece of staircase I've had laying around the shop for years, but never have had the gumption to actually do it. Seeing yours is giving my the gumption.

Here's another rebuilt one... using a Presslite flash, a graflex clamp, a TCSS MHS piece, and a Canon Y shroud.

...and an all new, industrial feeling one made from a Heiland shroud, a set of pipe-fittings and flanges, some screen door roller wheels, a Canon II extention, a DMB clamp, a TCSS MHS part, and a plastic chromed AS handwheel.

A guy on etsy who doesn't sell anymore.. which sucks cause I need two more for my Roman's MPP and AS V2...

I actually JUST bought a couple of those from another seller! I figured I can do my Vader sabers on them.

Also, the presslite above was the one I got from you!

Son and I made our own lightsabers a few months ago. He made his red and I did green. Used scraps, parts and old cheap "light swords" for the blades.
