1/72 A-Wing question

Hi all
Just about to start my first diorama, I intend to build a 1/72 hanger and have ordered a falcon and Y-wing to start with.
To populate some empty space I'd like to print an A-wing or at least some parts from a file I've found, But I need to print it as close to 1/72 as I can so I was wondering if anyone could tell me the dimensions of the canopy of a 1/72 A-Wing so I can work it out from there.
Thanks in advance for any help and a happy new year to all
Ed

Why don't you just get the Bandai A-Wing as well? Seems easier than going the round-about way.

I second StevenBills, get a Bandai A-wing. I'm in the process of building one right now and it's a lot of fun. It's also my first Bandai model and I'm seriously impressed with the detail and the level of engineering that is put in to it. I will be buying more Bandai models.

Thanks for the reply's guys. I will be getting the Bandai A-wing and a couple of x-wings but for the interim I'd like to utilize my printer and fill some gaps. So If anyone has the canopy measuments (width and length) that would be awesome.

I will measure it for you tonight when I get home.

Your a star! thanks very much

Here you go. I took photos, but here are the widths as I see them. Can't seem to find my calipers anywhere, the ruler is in inches.

Front height: 5/32 in
Back height: 5/16 in
Front width: 17/64 in
Back width:15/32 in
Length: 1 5/32

Along side the Revell 1:72 Y Wing with the droid on top for a bit better scale (Y Wing needs a little more than hitting with the airbrush too)

Looks about right to me.This is the Fantastic plastic 1/72 resin one near the Fine Molds 1/72 X and Y wings plus some other 1/72 ish stuff (the Arc-170 is a bit larger than 1/72 though, maybe closer to 1/65 or so)

At any rate, this A-wing is smaller than the Bandai A-wing since it was built using the studio model pilot to determine scale where the Banda A-wing is based on the revised size that FFG and other companies have been using as the official numbers

What B-wing model is that? Also where did that cloud car model come from?

The Cloud Car and Snowspeeder are from RetroSF

You can contact Domi(?) if you have any questions https://retrokitonline.net/contact-us/

There is also a 1/72 probe droid, and escape pod

The B-Wing is from Fantastic Plastic, but the masters for that and the A-Wing are now owned by Del at MVM models. They are out of production currently, but he does have a 1/72 Tie Bomber, Skyhoppper and a few others I believe
