Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

I say its his last solo outing, I wont believe he is fully done with the role until they find a new actor to replace him or the studio announces it

he suits / looks more like logan the older he gets!!!!

also wouldn't the two leather sections of the DOFP belt be glued together as well as tied with leather strips it would stop the decorative outer leather curling ????

Also looking at those new pics of the buckle, it also looks a lot bigger than we originally thought judging from how it is compared to the belt itself. I don't mind this at all...More buckle is always a good thing, especially when it doesn't involve feathers jabbing at your abdomen.
fifthchamber . I found something that you've been wanting for a while from TW soundtrack. It's the movie version and not the itunes release. It starts @ mark 1:35

That doesn't look like Heron.....Heron can spell, for one, and they take care about things like that a lot more than the above eBay link.......I'd avoid the seller above....Looks as trustworthy as a lying Wall Street banker with "Liar" written on his forehead.......Not cheap either....for that cash? There's better alternatives.......

Lol.. I'm surprised that anyone bought those as an item from the movie...

As claws? They're not bad though... Just... Well.. 60 dollars? Might still be pushing it... Lol

Thought as much but always good to get a second opinion, or help to ward off those who might be more unsuspecting – have enquired about the X3 range from Logan's Closet and see how that goes, had Heron done an X3 I might look at them, but at the moment it seems a straight up choice between the Film Jackets original or the LC X3 for me.

Should add that the Magnoli looks an interesting X3, and X2, jacket, though the colours of the armband strips look a little off in the pic on their site for the X3

Before there was a UD Replicas, there was a DavidYR1and he tested the waters with an X1 and X2. This was many years ago.
I got my X2 somewhere around 05/06 and have had it distressed. I wear it only when doing Wolverine appearances.
It's a very heavy, very thick jacket.Wolverine 1.jpg

Black will be simple.. Yeah.. Just find a decent dye I'd say.. As long as it holds, and isn't too thin? You should be okay... Although, I've seen a load of western shirts in black out there.. So, if it fails, maybe have a look for one of those anyway?
I don't mind dye, but sometimes they run wth sweat or heat... So... Just find a good dye!

Whatever brand you go with just make sure to follow the directions exactly. Don't skip any steps or try to substitute one process that you think might work for what they are saying you should do. If you follow the directions you should be fine. I have not tried to dye anything black yet but I have used fabric dyes and with colors I had to make the dye color darker because after the fabric goes through the rinse cycle and you heat set it in the dryer then it tends to be a bit lighter than it was before. I am not sure how that would work with black cause black is as dark as you can get, lol. Just don't over-dilute the dye and you should be fine.

Well I'm getting the shades, jeans, and bone claws thanks to darkside...Already got the belt and boots. Also getting muttonchops made by herohair because I'm not allowed to have the real things anymore due to my FD job, ugh...We'll see how long they last, they look delicate.

I have used mine about 8 or 9 times already and they are holding up well. I little edge wear but not bad at all. I even put some snips in around the mouth area to add more flexibility and allow for more mouth movement.

Hey everyone, sorry but I started a new thread before I realized this one existed.

I don't do very much forum posting these days but I was recently part of a project that I'm really happy with. I took an original design to Kurt Struss & Sean Cho of Reel Images Leatherwear and they produced a prototype Wolverine Battle Vest for me that I'm completely blown away by.

I got some photo at last weekends Denver Comic Con and I figured this was a good place to share them.

I'm always open to constructive criticism but please be kind :)

I should also mention that the majority of these photos were taken by WeNeals Photography & Retouching, am I allowed to link his page here?

Mention of DavidYr1 takes me back, can remember when the talk was all about the X2 and Bates/Vanson talk – the X2 is a design I've come to appreciate more over the years funnily enough, looks a great example of one in that pic! :thumbsup
