So hey guys this is a distress call I'm not sure if this is allowed but I am desperate I'm in the Army and currently deployed in a place where the means to get cosplay materials is limited and yet again I'm sorry for asking but I have a decent amount of free time here away from the family so I was hoping to work on some projects if anyone here has any extra materials or tools that are worn or don't need (knives, worbla scraps, foam, anything really) I would greatly appreciate it I've been building stuff out of cardboard and duct tape because that's all I have I guess what I'm asking for is for a cosplay care package lol if you would like to send one, message me and I'll shoot you my address here's a little of what I've been making because hey that's all I have oh and I can't emphasize enough how much I would appreciate it. Love you guys by the way all of meh JOE'S ImageUploadedByTapatalk1454379846.175660.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1454379860.430301.jpg

Hello Joes! Just starting my build after getting a few pieces from Ein. Any chance that anyone has any of the extra sheriff's badges I can buy on the off chance that I can't purchase any from the original makers?

I have a ton (well, a lot) of steel nuts if you want them. Free, if you pay the postage. I think I have 3 sizes. I didn't use them as it would make the codpiece stupidly heavy, in my opinion.

Did anyone ever find what that one patch on Joe's arm is, the multiple color one that there was never very clear photos of?

So I have an extra set of a few of the medals that I 3D printed quite a while ago that are free to anyone who wants them. They aren't the cleanest prints ever, which is why I made new ones for myself...and why these are free, First to pm me takes them. No catch, I will even cover postage in the US. Sorry international folks :(

Hey Joes, what's up in Joe land? Anybody have big Max related plans for the conventions this year?

Just to get it out to a relevant audience, I put up a couple discounted front torsos in the Junkyard, ones that formed well as far as the buck detail but have a few little lumps. Might be good for the detail oriented Joes on a budget. Cheers yall.

Hey guys. Just wanted to share about my Immortan rebuild. I used this thread, and a few others for guidlines on a rebuild. Even asked a few people for some tips directly, as well as some gear to help out with the build (logan74k) . To kinda go back a bit, I made an Immortan cosplay for this past Dragon*Con. It was my first build, and i made it in just under a month. I didn't know about RPF, or Shapeways at the time. In my honest opinion, the build was a wreck. Look "ok", but compared to every other Joe's (who all were fantastic), it was like a cheap bootleg version.

After Dragon*con, I knew i wanted to rebuild it. Everyone there told me about the RPF, and I looked into it. I started rebuilding the costume in January, and decided to take my time with it, trying to be as screen accurate as possible. I referenced RPF daily, used Shapeways to 3d print parts, and experimented in several areas, like stitching leather, and working with all types of worbla.

My main goal was to be done by Dragon*Con 2016, but there was a little local con in Birmingham I wanted to wear it to. So i doubled up my time building, and was able to finish 90% of it for the local con. I still have a few things i need to adjust and add to it, but i wanted to share how far I have come with it. I even won the con's cosplay contest with it. I've share most of these pics on several Mad Max groups I am in on Facebook, so if anyone has seen them on there already, I'm sorry for bombarding groups and sites with the pics.
