    Jun 16, 2017, 6:10 PM - Target Salt & Peper Mills #1

I've seen several mentions of Target Salt shakers used as Replacements for Graflex bottoms but have never see one at the store I work at.
However I saw this while walking in the housewares section this morning.
    Salt and Pepper Mills.

Perhaps the more knowledgeable will be able to tell if this will work.

It was located in the kitchen gadgets section.
DPCI # 070-05-4607 to identify it (or have an employee with a device locate it for you)

It was Bed, Bath and Beyond that made the ones magically the right size. Unsure about these...

D6, can you take measurements of the lower half? Width and length would be awesome!

With Roman selling bottoms now, (and TGS ones on the way) hunting down stand-ins is much less of a quest I think...

I need a bottom, but doesn't need to be perfect... after shipping and exchange to Canada, Roman's is still a bit pricy.

And I was starting to think that with all the nostalgia feelings in the "Remember when" thread, someone just wanted to build one "old school RPF" for a change .

    I took a look today.
The bottom has a clear insert with the grinding mechanism.

Nothing magic about the size. Stainless steel handicap supports on bathroom walls are the same diameter, thickness and finish is very close. The building I work in has SS hand rails on the stairs. Today I noticed the ends have a flat insert caps.
