44" Eagle 5

This is glorious stuff, Lee! Did you hand file all the brass? Use a jig for that too, if so?
 
Hey, yes I am hand filing all the brass, not that I would recommend that path. Have rigs rigs too, those are fairly simple and 100% needed. More pics soon.
 
Absolutely impressive. You have a thousand per cent more patience than me, that's for sure.
 
Yeh I've been distracted with other projects and now I've just moved. But all the parts are with me and I'm eager to restart :)
 
Really cool project, OP. I hope you post lot's of pics of the Eagle once it's done. The eagle transporters were imo, the most realistic space craft ever made in a sci-fi series. They really looked like they could work.
 
I was just thinking about the Eagle 5 and wondered if anyone had attempted an SS model of it here. Checked the SS page and it this was the 2nd to the top thread! I hope you can get back to this soon.
