ANOVOS issues (ANOVOS ONLY discussion)

I think a Luke ANH X-Wing helmet would be very popular. Unfortunately Anovos hasn't announced much as far as new OT products in quite a while. The focus is on the recent films.

They should do Luke's. I'm thinking seriously about getting the Blue Leader General Merrick helmet. If they do a Luke helmet (any movie) I'm buying for sure.

I'm gonna need a second job after all the new announcements. There I was debating getting General Merrick helmet and now I've got a bunch of new temptations. Went for the Death Trooper Specialist even though I got the first one. Love the lights and range finder.

Surprised no one has mentioned that Magma trooper helmet that's at the SDCC booth. I'm not there, but saw a clearly all-red TK helmet in the display case

I think ti was mentioned before but that was only for sale at conventions (so far)
An email from Anovos mentioned an Incinerator Stormtrooper helmet only being available at SDCC, but it didn't mention a Magna trooper.

I didn't know the blaster was foam! That's cool to know the 501st has stepped over to use foam

Makes more sense, durable, don't have to worry about damage. And lightweight

I think it's inaccurate to say "the 501st" as it implies that we all made some kind of universal unanimous decision. Rubber blasters are definitely more common than they were a few years ago, but these are costly and most members, especially starting out, don't care to put a whole lot of money into a blaster, especially since it's not even a required part of the costume to begin with. I'd argue that the more prevalent blaster is a modified hasbro, but a large number of blaster vendors are resin and now 3d printed, speaking about standard E-11s. Other blasters- DLT19s, BFGs, etc. are more commonly not made in rubber outside of Hyperfirm. These are still built in common materials.

I assume the blaster is foam because it fits better with the costuming license as opposed to a high end prop replica license. They could use other materials than foam, but they were probably wanting a lightweight, durable blaster that is pretty obviously not dangerous on inspection.
