M19 telescope mhr 1942 build

Pitch between the mounting hole is 3.25,,,, Dlblaster is the closest if you doing a retro...not sure about all kits out there there are many from decades past. My scaling is a little diff from some of the past builds ive seen...I did what i believe to be accurate... Im sure you can make some mods.... let me know if i can help......The weaver is pretty standard .....

"dl44blaster" I think u mean [emoji6]

The new parts are looking very nice. Do you think you might make a few of the ROTJ style scope mounts with the upper part cut in the style of the ESB stunt blasters? :)

YES OPPPSSS sorry man

Send me a picture,,, im not sure

Sweet!

The vertical part of the scope mount is like ROTJ, and the horizontal part that bolts to the M19 is like the ESB. Here's a pic thd9791 posted in the other thread:

There are more pictures of a stunt blaster here (its scope mount is a little mangled due to a repair but the same as above): https://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=233164&p=3707131&viewfull=1#post3707131

It is a stunt gun made of resin. So probably used in one of the shots that the gun was tossed(force pulled) or knocked out of hand in ESB and/or ROTJ.

It's interesting because it has elements from several DL-44's, has a bull barrel and flash hider similar to the ANH version, ESB scope, ROTJ/ESB hybrid scope mount, ESB pistons but in the ROTJ configuration.

I believe it's also Luke's dagobah blaster he uses in the swamps as well as his muppet blaster.

Used on Dagobah, the shot where Vader force-pulls Han's blaster, in holsters in ESB/ROTJ, and the Muppet Show :)

3 of them here caught by Vader: https://youtu.be/e_XgTyBzWZ0?t=72

The body is cast off the ANH hero, with a new bracket using the ANH mounting points, an ESB M19 scope and paint job, and it inspired the ROTJ hero.

There is a behind the scenes clip when Han is shooting at Vader and they swap in different guns so they can be pulled out of his hand/tossed to Vader. They did several takes of it. I can't seem to find it anywhere. It's likely that the stunt in the photo was used there as well.

Check my post above yours for a link to the video - they seem to have 3 of these resin blasters that a crew member tosses to Vader one at a time in rapid sequence :)

yeah they were all slightly different for the catch blasters. Also in that clip are the two live fire "bespin" hero guns. Luke's and Han's. So similar visually they're indistinguishable on film. It's my theory that they had to swap them out, because due to the mount, they could only feed 1-2rounds per gun for live shots.

Very nice,,, thanks for making me apart of your project
