I love the original soundtrack, went to Amazon to pre-order the 2049 soundtrack....nothing. There isn't even a listing for it, just 1 song you can buy from the trailer. About 5 weeks to go and there isn't anything to pre-order.

I have been looking for the soundtrack as well. Very disappointing. Hopefully a release will occur the first week of September.

It seems they made some "shorts" to fill in some of the timeline that happens just before 2049, much like the Shaw short that showed up for Covenant ..

YES!!! One of my biggest fears was that the theatrical release would be dramatically trimmed down. I still hope the blu ray will have an extended cut.

I'm going to be the outlier here. I didn't like it.
I hate Leto's self-indulgent existential monologuing. The imagery of emotionally disconnected characters spewing pseudo-intellectual diatribe just bores me to tears.

Blade Runner wasn't afraid to dwell in the voids of silence where there's a palpable emotional current driven by visual or musical cues. Blade Runner is beautiful for this. BR didn't need to explain everything but the depths of implied pathos made Blade Runner indelible - and it did so without trying to explain everything.

The stillness of this short is empty. It's Leto just measuring his words as if every syllable is profound. It merely alludes to profundity. And it feels intellectually bankrupt.

Blade Runner, in its stillness, still feels emotionally charged. This short is simply devoid of emotion.

And without emotion or real intellectual content this short amounts to little more than an exercise in cinemato-pornography.

I dunno...

I hate Spoilers and I enjoyed it. It give you a better understanding of what's to come.

and no issues with the way Leto's talking... In some ways kinda Roy Batty...
