Hi, can someone please give me some recommendations for a good, affordable, noob airbrush kit? For fine weathering, etc for models. Thanks much!

Depends on your budget.
Badger, Iwata? Buy the best you can afford and definitely go for a dual action in my opinion.
Just practice on paper, card etc before you point it at your model.

My first and only is a Neo gravity feed https://www.amazon.com/Gravity-Feed...8&qid=1472609007&sr=8-1&keywords=neo+airbrush

I also bought a master compressor with a tank off ebay.

I love love love, my Paasche Talon, I use it with a cheapo Harbor Freight airbrush compressor I've owned without issues for a couple years, before that I used my Paasche H and still do on occasion for thicker paints/primers.

Here is the main link to the Talon: http://www.paascheairbrush.com/prod...nd-accessories/Airbrushes/double-action/TG-3F

You can find it much cheaper online other places. I received mine as a payment for a commission, best payment ever!

Iwata is a workhorse
Eclipse would be a great start
Comes with two needles and it's all steel can be pulled out and cleaned even the outer body
Mars

I second all of the Iwata votes. I'm new to airbrushing and I have a couple different Iwatas myself. So far they've been very solid and have a nice feel to them.
