Show your Dr. Who props!

Was walking round a shop just after Christmas with the wife and spotted this for sale and something poped straight into my head about what it could become. so I got two just to be safe and after a 5min modification and some jellybabies I had the 12th Doctor's Jelly Babies Case From Mummy on the Orient Express. Not much of a prop build was a found item that had taken 5mins to custom and add jelly babies. Still A fun one tho.

Not a prop just yet, more a bunch of bits.

I think a guy here on the RPF (Shipbrook I believe) is responsible for making this amazing 3d printable model available for download.

It will go really nice with my 12th Doctor outfit once done.

Mr Clever.jpg

I made the cyberplanner pieces from Nightmare in Silver. ( You can't see the neck piece in this photo as it kept getting tangled up in my hair ) It does light up, but I need to edit my video of it. Also made the : hand pulsar, ( also lights up ) cybermites, trigger unit, chess set and chess board.
Needless to say Mr. Clever was my fave character.

Not sure if I ever remembered to share this here, but I made Mercy Hartigan's Cyberking headdress to go with my costume from Gally last year

(sorry about the sideways close up, no idea why it's reading that way. My computer has it oriented properly)

A while ago I did some "binding" related Dr. Who stuff for my daughter who is a great fan of the Show.

Here's the result:

The "101 places to see" is blank... so pretty much a Notebook for here personal adventures. Redrawn and vectorized the entire book cover.

The "HotTW" turn out to be fake book, as I wasn't able get the correct Bible.

She's pretty happy about both of them... :D

really live the 101 places to see. How did you do it?

The book itself is a ready-made book block (blank and trimmed down to the size needed) which I covered with a such called case-binding.
As mentioned above I've redrawn all the grafics from pics of the original props, scanned them, vectorized
and colored them to match the original. Finally inkjet-printed them on "closed book-cloth/linen" in the "correct" Color (close as possible).
The inkjet print is sealed to not come of too easy. Made the case/cover and attached the cover to the blook.

There are tones of tutorials about "case-bindings" or other binding methodes online. Just use the search engine of your choice.

Anyway if you have further question... just let me know!
