Finished up the boots today!
I started with regular black costume boots.

I cropped the top and used foam for the toes.

Then I layered it with more foam using the same method as the gauntlets and weathered them.

Now its time for the wig......wish me luck.

Wig done!
It took 2 wigs, a lot of cutting, trimming and hairspray but I think its about done, I'll try on the whole costume tonight!

Another way of creating the large and sometimes oversized hairdo's from DBZ/manga is making them out of thick (multipurpose) foam.
In this case,I personally find the wigs do not do justice to the character.My 2 cents

thanks! I don't plan on wearing this costume again anytime soon but when the time comes I would defiantly like to revisit making the wig.

This turned out so good! Making me super excited for my own DBZ build. One question, what did you use to add color to your plexiglass for the scouter? Or did you just find green plexi?

Great work on the whole costume! Good thing you had a pretty good looking Goku to compliment you in your pictures! Haha
