Post your batman suits

Need help guys! I got the Batman V Superman Mech Batsuit Pepakura file from AZTLAN. The Issue I'm having is that I can't Scale the files to my body specs. I keep wasting material and I'm not getting it to fit right. For those who have build one, what's the trick? I'm 5'10 195lbs and the helmet and parts for big!!!

I'll just leave this here.

The helmet is from TheRocketeer. The 3D files for the armour were from Do3D. I had to scale the models to my size and remesh them before printing out the pieces on my 3D printer.

Hi Im doing this as well can i ask you as l question how do you add depth like in the leg part check out mine if you have time ive barely done the leg and it looks messy

Provided the outside light is bright enough you can see, the minute you go into a dark room with the eye lights on it.s a total white out.

My armour is made from ABS plastic as it is 3D printed. The depth and features you ask about are created as the piece is printed. You are building in foam, the only way I know how to make a recessed detail piece in foam armour is to cut out the outline of the recess and then push the cut piece into the body of the armour creating the recess. This is how Evil Ted Smith and Bill Doran do it. Hope this helps.

Last time I'll do the legs and i am satisfied, not perfect but practice makes perfect. On to the next thing, decided my boy will debut the cosplay next year. image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

These are some of my suits ranging from the nolanverse to the new DCU. I havent gotten any pics of my screen accurate batfleck suit. Ill see if I can find some. Let me know your thoughts....

not complete yet but here's the suit i've been working on recently. Kind of a mix between different suits, need to sort a cowl and cape.

Go for the chunky cowl like from Frank Millar's designs but try to avoid the look of the recent movie armor. You've to a good original suit started, you don't want to be accused of being derivative. I'd do the cape with piping to the scallop points to give it an armored look too. This is more of a riot armor Batman than a para-cape gliding Batman.

I second this, and I'd recommend The Rocketeer's Frank Miller cowl, I've had one for ages and it's gorgeous. This armour is looking amazing, I love your idea!

Happy to help! This doesn't look like the "walk in, eff stuff up, walk out" Batman. This is more along the lines of the "massive angry mob rounds the corner to find HIM standing there waiting" Batman.

Admittedly not a Batsuit but your armor reminds me of mine. It has that "standing there, immovable" scare factor to it.

This is my 89 with a Batsmith cowl and Mind Magic Studios armour and cape, and my good lady in her Feverish Imaginings catsuit and corset and Mind Magic Studios cowl. :)
