too bad, is it the wrong model for any DL44...

Maybe -with the swivel ring at the grip-bottom removed and a new safety- it could make a stellar base for a Stembridge :cool

barrel sleeve and front sight of a 3D printed Lewis gun
That's what the gear assembly and gas-chamber is for... real upgrades
